  I would rate this store with no star but the lowest is 1 start to be able to post. My son and I went there on May 27, 2016 after I had picked him up from school in Palatine. We ordered 2 of their combo meals. Everything was fine until we picked up the food at the second window. I had forgotten to ask for 2 waters when placing the orders. When I asked the lady at the pickup window for the 2 waters she proceeded to tell me "you need to tell us you want water when you order" in scolding, rude and condescending manner. I was surprised at her reaction and told her "that's not the service I'd expect to get from Wendy's". She proceeded to say that she had to enter it into the system - which is fine - she was making such a big deal about it - just do your job. I asked for her name and she refused, slammed the window in my face. I waited until she opened the window again -asked for her name again and she refused. I asked for the manager and she said she was the manager but did not want to give her name. I stayed by the window for about 10 seconds and she grabbed the phone and said she was going to call the police and at this point I said I will file a complaint - she said go ahead and I left. I called into Wendy's customer care center and reported it the same day. They said that they take feedback very seriously and would have a manager call me back. After more than a week later - no follow up call. Not very good customer service from Wendy's and specially this store on 1207 Northwest Hwy in Palatine, IL. Wendy's lost a good customer.
